Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet is used to treat hypertension. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. As a result, it leads to heart problems, irregular heartbeat, and other complications.
Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet contains Bisoprolol and telmisartan. Bisoprolol acts directly on the heart to lower blood pressure and heart rate. Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by inhibiting the angiotensin hormone. When combined, they improve the heart’s pumping efficiency and blood flow.
Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet may cause certain side effects like headache, fatigue, sore back, diarrhoea, a feeling of congestion, and swollen ankles that usually resolve after some time. Prolonged intake of Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet may lead to a lowering of blood pressure. Take Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not take Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet if you are allergic to it. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy, are breastfeeding, have liver disease, kidney disease, heart failure, diabetes, a heart valve problem or a heart attack beforehand. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 16 years of age.

How Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet Works

What if I have taken an overdose of Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet
Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet may include fainting, fast or slow heartbeat, difficulty breathing, dizziness and trembling. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.
Drug Warnings
Discontinue the medicine and inform your doctor if you observe any adverse reactions during the treatment or have any previous allergic history to any of its components.
It is advised not to stop taking Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet without talking to your doctor first.
Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet is not recommended for you in patients with a very slow heartbeat, asthma, serious heart condition (sick sinus syndrome), or any heart blockage.
Before taking Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet let your doctor know if you have any muscle disorders, low blood sugar level, low blood pressure (hypotension), depression, previous heart failure, liver/kidney disease.
Bisoheart-T 5 Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12.
Avoid driving and operating machines if you feel tired or dizzy.
Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should inform the physician before starting the treatment.

Try to maintain your weight under control with a BMI of 19.5-24.9.
Regular physical activity or exercise for at least 30 minutes daily can help you lower your raised blood pressure.
Opt for a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, veggies and low-fat dairy products.
Reduce the intake of table salt in your daily diet to 2300 mg/day for better results.
Quitting smoking and alcohol consumption is the best strategy to lower the risk of heart disease.
Avoid chronic stress, as it can raise your blood pressure.
Monitor your blood pressure daily, and if there is too much fluctuation, immediately contact your doctor.
