ASTHAKIND EXPECTORANT (60 ML)

Asthakind-DX Syrup Sugar-Free is a combination medication used to alleviate dry coughs and allergy symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and throat irritation. It also relieves nasal congestion or stuffiness. This syrup contains three active ingredients: chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine. Asthakind DX is effective in reducing allergy symptoms like cough and nasal congestion.

The syrup can be taken with or without food, as directed by your doctor. The right dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medication. For effective treatment, it’s important to continue taking this medication for the duration recommended by your doctor.

Tusq DX syrup, Zedex Plus syrup and Kep D syrup also contain a combination of chlorpheniramine, dextromethorphan, and phenylephrine.

According to the advisory issued by the Union Health Ministry, cough and cold medications should not be prescribed or dispensed to children under two years of age. These medications are generally not recommended for children under five years old. For children above that age, any use should be based on careful clinical evaluation and close supervision.
